WCPT Congress Wins Award

No excuses then, make sure you experience the WCPT hospitality and planning by attending the ER-WCPT event in Liverpool in November. Find out for yourself why they won this award and don’t forget to say hello and visit the Physiopedia stall.

WCPT congress, which took place in May 2015, has been recognised for its achievements in delivering a fantastic platform for progress and excellence by the Singapore Tourism Awards. It scooped up the best association conference organiser award.

“The World Confederation for Physical Therapy is honoured and delighted to receive this award, which recognises the WCPT Congress as the number one destination for physical therapists from across the world. We look forward to uniting the global community once again at the WCPT Congress 2017 in Cape Town, where we will strive to deliver an even better experience.”

Lets hope they keep their promise in Cape Town and make sure you are a part of it!

For those who are unfamiliar with the world congress of physiotherapy consider it the global voice for physiotherapy. Representing 350,000 therapists and 112 organisations world wide the WCPT believes that every individual is entitled to the highest possible standard of healthcare underpinned by scientific evidence. It’s fair to say this mirrors what being a physiotherapist is all about.

My interest in health and fitness started at a young age. Even though I had been educated and trained as an engineer in Europe I always want to follow my passion. I have made some guest appearances on a health educational program TV in Europe and, this experience, has made me follow my passion of sharing wellness information with others.
